Description:
Wide width ultrasonic nozzle is a spraying system that combines ultrasonic spraying technology with plane jet air flow. It can produce fan shaped spray patterns up to 120mm, which can be used in parallel, and is suitable for large-area spraying. The airflow speed and atomization droplet size of the wide ultrasonic nozzle system can be precisely controlled to meet different product or substrate requirements. The system is made of titanium and stainless steel, with good liquid compatibility, and can use ultrasonic nozzles of various frequencies (50Khz, 60Khz, 100Khz, 120Khz).
The function of ultrasonic spraying is to prevent corrosion and contamination of the glass surface. It is usually necessary to evenly spray a layer of anti fouling coating (such as water-soluble organic acid solution (usually malic acid, maleic acid, adipic acid) on the glass surface. The application of ultrasonic spraying in glass manufacturing includes float glass, functional coatings, and protective coatings.

Compatibility of liquids:
Various coatings, chemicals, lubricants, and particle suspensions can be easily atomized. However, factors such as viscosity, miscibility, and solid content are worth considering. To achieve the best atomization effect, the viscosity should be below 30cps and the solid concentration should be maintained below 8%. Due to the fact that the process of ultrasonic atomization spraying relies on the movement of the liquid film, the greater the viscosity of the liquid, the more difficult it is to atomize. Liquids containing long-chain polymer molecules have high cohesion, making it difficult to atomize even in diluted form. Generally, mixtures of single particles are more prone to atomization.
1. Ordinary pure liquid: pure single component liquid (water, alcohol, bromine, etc.), pure solution (salt water, polymer solution, etc.), with insoluble solid mixture (coal slurry, bead polymer/water, silica/alcohol, suspension, etc.)
For pure liquids, the only factor that affects the atomization effect is viscosity, usually with a maximum viscosity of around 10cp.
Polymer molecular liquids
2. Pure solutions are similar to pure liquids in most cases, except when the solution contains long polymer molecular chains. In this case, the length of polymer molecules will affect the atomization process. When droplets separate from the entire liquid and form atomization, those polymer molecules will hinder the formation of these discrete droplets.
3. Insoluble solid mixture
There are three factors that affect the atomization ability of a mixture with insoluble solids: particle size, solid concentration, and the dynamic relationship between solid particles and the carrier.
The concentration of solid particles is very important, with an upper limit of about 15%. In high concentration situations, appropriate conditions are necessary to atomize. Finally, even if the particle size is appropriate, the feasibility of liquid atomization is also influenced by other dynamic factors, such as the viscosity of the carrier and the ability of the solid components to remain suspended.
If the particle size is greater than 1/10 of the median value of the droplet, this mixture is generally very easy to atomize. For droplets containing one or more solid particles, the size of the droplet must be much larger than that of the solid particles, otherwise most droplets may not contain the solid particle components, resulting in separation.
